Welcome to our websiteThe Franklin Square/Elmont Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League is an integral part of our community. Our non-profit organization is staffed by a Nassau County Police Officer and a group of volunteer members.
We are pleased to announce that the Franklin Square/Elmont Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League has recently received a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Over the past several months the Nassau County Police Activity League has been working closely with John and Karen Acompora and their organization, the Louis J. Acompora Foundation to protect the lives of children involved in sports activities. The Louis J. Acompora Foundation has generously donated AED devices to the Nassau County Police Activity League. Most of our Board members, Commissioners, and Coaches have received CPR/AED training. Nassau County Police Activity League Mission StatementThe mission of the Nassau County Police Activity League, Inc. is to operate youth clubs and provide sports, crafts and other programs of a team or individual nature for all boys and girls in Nassau County, New York, regardless of race, religion, income or handicap.
